Scholarship Ticket Program

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, grants, and corporate sponsors, we are able to share the queer arts with our community through our OVC for All scholarship ticket program.

OVC for All grants are our way of ensuring that everyone has access to the arts, regardless of circumstance. Subsidized tickets are provided to community groups, schools, and individuals/families to remove financial barriers. These subsidies lower pricing to $2/ticket for our winter and spring shows and $5/ticket for our summer show.

We will accept requests for OVC for All funding at any time and subsidies will be granted at the sole discretion of the OVC Leadership Team. Available subsidized tickets will be offered first come, first served to those who submit an application.

Criteria

  • Below is the criteria to apply for OVC for All as an individual, family, school, or nonprofit group:
    • All individuals, families, schools, and organizations must complete a scholarship ticket application.
    • Tickets are granted to non-profit organizations with a current 501c(3) status. 
    • The number of granted tickets is limited to 20 tickets per organization, per concert (as budget allows).
    • We ask that you only request the number of tickets that you will reasonably utilize. Non-use of tickets may deem your organization ineligible for future OVC for All opportunities. 
    • Tickets will only be granted to organizations based in and serving populations in the Charlotte metropolitan area, within a 30-mile radius of Charlotte city center.
    • All OVC concerts are eligible for this program. For our summer show, VIP tickets and tables are not eligible for subsidy (only general admission). Chroma performances are not currently available for OVC for all, but may be added in the future.

Application

Below is the process to request subsidized tickets for an OVC performance:

  1. Research the performance date and time that works best for your group and gather as accurate of a headcount as possible.
  2. Complete the following link: OVC for All Ticket Application
  3. Within 5 business days, you’ll receive communication from a member of the OVC team that will approve, deny, or request more info for your ticket request.
  4. If approved, you will be emailed a discount code that will reduce the cost of the tickets as listed above. Purchase tickets in our store and enter the provided discount code upon checkout to receive the subsidy. You may only purchase the number of tickets approved within your application.
  5. Make preparations to attend and enjoy a wonderful evening of music!
