One Voice Chorus proudly presented Season 37: In Full Bloom. This incredible year of music is themed around the growth and transformations that define our lives. Our beginnings, our journeys, our trials, and ultimately, our realization. How we start in the embrace of the earth, then thrust into a strange, harsh world, and how we come into our own, reaching forever onward and joining a tapestry of life already in bloom.
GOLDEN TICKET | One Voice On Tap – October 15th, 2026 — Free Range Brewing |We return to Free Range Brewing for one night of live cabaret performances, craft beer, and a little October spookiness. Featuring members of the full One Voice Chorus ensemble, costumes are encouraged but a good time is mandatory!
MAINSTAGE | Winter’s Promise – December 12th, 2026 — First United Methodist Church | One Voice Chorus invites you to our annual holiday celebration rooted in the idea of potential. Like seeds resting beneath the frost, this season has so much in store. Join us for an evening of tender harmonies, lush landscapes of sound, and a few thorny, campy surprises, all celebrating wintertime.
MAINSTAGE | Flower Into Kindness – March 27th, 2027 — First United Methodist Church | A seed that has weathered the cold breaks open, reaches upward, and becomes something new. One Voice Chorus, accompanied by a live string quartet, honors this spirit of transformation through music that moves from potential into bloom. Featuring works by Jake Runestad and Ola Gjeilo, it’s an evening filled with music that asks what it means to grow, to open, and to become.
GOLDEN TICKET | Chroma Song and Savor (Garden) – May 3rd, 2027 — The Long Room | Join us for an intimate evening of live music, food, and community. Enjoy a performance by Chroma, One Voice’s auditioned ensemble, while you dine and bid on silent auction items. Like a garden, what we’ve built together takes tending, and we’re grateful to have supporters like you helping it grow.
MAINSTAGE | Turning Toward the Sun – June 26th, 2027 – The Parr Center | For our final concert of Season 37, we’re pairing with local doom folk band Carolina Down Boys for an innovative performance unlike anything we’ve done before: a Southern gothic soundscape of minor keys and soundtrack-like ambience, carried by electric and acoustic guitars, banjo, cello, lap steel guitar, violin, upright bass, saw, and percussion. We will feature the Down Boys’ original songs woven with our choral voices. During this performance, we’ll explore the shadows but then emerge, turning deliberately, defiantly, and joyfully toward hope, belonging, and chosen family. This is an event not to be missed!
