To our One Voice Chorus Supporters and Family,
In order to ensure the safety of our audience members, chorus family and musicians, and to do our part in helping limit the exposure of COVID-19, we are cancelling our upcoming Phoenix concert scheduled for Saturday, March 21. We regret this decision and look forward to the next opportunity we have to share our music with you.
Thank you for your continued interest and support of One Voice Chorus. Please stay safe and healthy and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Join One Voice Chorus as we honor the themes of renewal, reawakening, and rebirth.
The legend of the phoenix is well known in popular culture. The fires of resilience burn within the LGBTQIA community during the darkest times, and no one celebrates a joyous rebirth into the sun like we do!
This concert features music both sacred and secular, historical and contemporary, and with styles ranging from spirituals to rock ballads! We are proud to premiere a performance of our co-commissioned piece “How Did You Feel,” by Michael Bussewitz-Quarm, the text of which was inspired by the words and experiences of trans youth.
