Match Game returns for another summer at Charlotte Ballet! Have you ever dreamed of escaping the rat race? In the first half of our fun and frenzied show, it’s all work and no play. After a transformation worthy of a fairy godmother, the second half is all glitz and glam. This show, which is almost an all-out, irreverent musical theater production, includes costumes, choreography, and a panel of fabulous drag panelists for our Match Game sequences.

What is Match Game?
In the 70’s, Match Game was a popular game show featuring a panel of celebrities. Celebrities were first asked questions prior to the start of the round, and then contestants were asked the same questions and attempted to “match” the answers the celebrities had come up with. The popular show RuPaul’s Drag Race also features a version of Match Game cheekily called “Snatch Game.”
Well, this is One Voice’s version of the Match Game, featuring local drag entertainers and interspersed with song and dance. There’s plenty of fun to be had by all and even potential prizes for the audience.
