Meditation and Music: Comfort for a community touched by the Orlando Pulse tragedy

Responding to the tragedy in Orlando, Charlotte’s two LGBTQ choruses, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte and One Voice Chorus, in conjunction with St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, are hosting a service of meditation and music to be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15.

The service will include communal singing, performances by both GMCC and One Voice Chorus’ small ensemble Sotto Voce, brief meditations, and times of silence for reflection. Organizers expect the service to last about 50 minutes.
