Choral music, folk songs, a capella, rock n' roll, classical, main stage or back stage...we've got a way for you to express yourself as a member of this chorus!

There is no audition! You simply attend rehearsals, pay your annual dues (scholarships available), and sing your heart out!

You don't have to

  • know how to read music

  • be able to sing in a foreign language, or

  • have choral experience!

You do need

  • a sense of humor

  • a little patience, and

  • a willingness to learn something new!

Come out singing and join One Voice Chorus, the Gay, Lesbian and Gay-Affirmative Chorus of Charlotte. One Voice is a non-auditioned chorus of men and women. In addition, the chorus has an auditioned ensemble, Sotto Voce made up of chorus members. 

Our artistic achievement of excellence in choral music enables us to reach diverse groups to overcome misperceptions and to grow personally, both as performers and as leaders in our community.
